Scrubs

The UK Covid-19 response Scrub making initiatives are becoming fairly well established. For the Love of Scrubs are coordinating a comprehensive UK effort to provide scrubs for front line hospital staff. Scrub Hub are a network of voluntary community groups who are making scrubs to order for NHS staff.

Patterns

For The Love of Scrubs are using a pattern from PDF patterns boutique and they have permission to use this for free. This can be printed at home on an A4 printer and the pages joined together to make a full pattern. They are making it available here.

Another free unisex scrubs pattern pdf is available from Sew Me Something. This design has a simpler 'grown on' sleeve created from the same material as the body of the top. This pattern can be printed at home on an A4 printer.

Another pattern which can be printed at home is available from Sew Different. This also has grown-on sleeves for ease and speed and is available for free for non-profit use.

Scrub Hub have an open source pattern but this will need to be replicated by someone with pattern cutting experience. They have a volunteer creating patterns to send to those creating scrubs within the Scrub Hub network.

Scrub Up have created their own open source patterns to make various sizes of scrubs for the NHS. These require following a set of instructions to create your own pattern.
